Australian residents caught up in the military coup in Turkey have told of their fear and confusion over the unfolding situation as the Australian government urges travel reconsideration. Melbourne man Alex Demirtas spoke to 9NEWS from Kirikkale, 80km east from the capital of Ankara, with his family who are in “panic mode”.
