(Bloomberg) -- The U.S. effort to curtail the spread of the new coronavirus may lead to more “social distancing” as a top infectious disease scientist said the outbreak’s scope is “not encouraging.” Egypt reported the first death in Africa. President Donald Trump tweeted that the U.S. has a “perfectly coordinated” plan to combat the illness.
