Further restrictions on all Masses in Portlaoise parish during Covid-19
Further restrictions have been announced to Masses in the Portlaoise Parish in Laois. Last week the parish announced that Sunday Masses would be broadcast online only with the doors closed due to the COVID-19 Virus. However daily masses were still open.

Church hosts drive-through: capacity reached for Wednesday

Sunday Mass will be closed to the public for at least two weeks
“THE most difficult decision I have had to make.” That was how Bishop of Kildare and Leighlin Denis Nulty described the decision to cancel Sunday Mass for two weeks. The unprecedented move will see Masses across the diocese closed to the public today (St Patrick’s Day) and next weekend.
