A possible motive in the Huntsville church food pantry slayings was introduced during Richard Burgin's death penalty trial today. Lane Eason, a now-retired Huntsville police investigator, testified one of the victims may have been robbed of his wallet during the fatal stabbings at West Huntsville United Methodist Church.
