Austin Derrick Cooper Ritchie, of Franklin, died Wednesday morning after his stepmother allegedly placed him in a bath tub of scalding water as part of his punishment, Franklin police said. On Tuesday, Austin, born on Jan. 27, 2012 in Middletown, was buried with a stuffed Spider-Man doll and Captain America shield in his tiny casket.
