The Catholic priest abducted by Islamic State (IS)-inspired Maute militants in Marawi City yesterday appealed to President Duterte to declare a ceasefire in the conflict-hit area. In a video circulated online, Fr. Teresito ‘Chito’ Soganub spoke in behalf of his fellow captives and was made to voice out the demands of their captors.
