I recall when I first spoke to him. Leak's cartoons could crack me up before I had a chance to reflect on what I was laughing about. It was 1997, and he depicted One Nation as a tribe of hillbillies, strung out behind their red-headed leader, coming out of the bush with banjos, donkeys, pitch-forks and lord knows what else.
