| Harlow is 70: Remembering when the Queen visited in 1957 |
|
Harlow is turning 70 in 2017 and to celebrate we are taking a nostalgic look back to when the Queen visited the town. On October 30, 1957, the monarch was welcomed by DL Anderson, chairman of what was then Harlow Urban District Council, and planted two trees at St Paul's Church which are still there today.
