Australia's Foreign Minister Julie Bishop has opened a Consulate-General in Papua New Guinea's second biggest city, Lae. She said the Consulate-General would allow her government to build stronger links with many Australian businesses operating in a growing part of PNG, in mining, agriculture, manufacturing and retail.
