Manila Archbishop Luis Antonio Cardinal Tagle believed that strengthening the family serving as the foundation of a person and not the imposition of the death penalty will help curb criminality. In a statement, the head of the Archdiocese of Manila noted that reviving death penalty as capital punishment is not the solution to stop lawlessness.
