Power is slowing coming back on in the hardest hit areas of Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina Friday morning, 48 hours after Winter Storm Pax coated trees and power lines with a thick layer of ice and snow. At least 19 deaths in the region are blamed on the winter storm. A majority of the deaths happened on icy roads.
