| Mozambique opposition rejects Chissano mediation |

Mozambican main opposition party Renamo has rejected former President Joachim Chissano as the peace mediator between them and the government.
VOA Radio quoted Renamo spokesman António Muchanga saying Mr Chissano was part of the cause of the conflict for failing to fulfil the 1992 peace accord.
