It is hard to say anything positive about the planning of Woden town centre. It is an ugly concrete jungle to which is now being added a number of home unit blocks that look like something out of Soviet era Moscow. However, the enhancement of Eddison Park in recent years has created an oasis of calm in an urban area sadly lacking in open space.
