Until 1941, America was reluctant to get involved in World War II. There were two vast oceans separating America from the warring countries, and the first “War to End All Wars” was still too fresh in everyone’s minds to forget. Then, all hell seemed to break loose. The Dec. 7, 1941, bombing of Pearl Harbor happened, and Americans were outraged.
