People in Swaziland who are affiliated to any political group will not be granted radio or television broadcasting licences in a proposed law. Swaziland is controlled by King Mswati III who is sub-Saharan Africa's last absolute monarch. Broadcasting and newspapers in the kingdom are already heavily restricted.
