CHARLESTON COUNTY, S.C. — A federal judge ruled Friday that alleged Charleston church shooter Dylann Roof is mentally competent to stand trial. Jury selection is expected to resume in federal court in Charleston Monday, according to U.S. Judge Richard Gergel’s order.
