A Filipino bishop is among the 19 prelates to be elected by the Pope Francis to the rank of cardinal. According to Vatican Radio, the official broadcasting service of the Vatican, the Pope announced Archbishop Orlando B. Quevedo of Cotabato as one of the bishops to be named cardinal on February.
