News Bobby (77) dies in massive blaze > The 77-year-old man who died in a house fire in Clonroche on Tuesday will be laid to rest in his native village later this week.

Clonroche woman Lorraine Kelly called emergency servies at 9.27 a.m. when she saw smoke and flames shooting from the house. She called her father Martin who arrived at The Villas with his friend Jim Redmond. The men went to the back door but were unable to knock it in to rescue Bobby.
