| Life of teenage soldier remembered at Bexwell Church, near Downham Market |
|
Charles “Doox” Prangley was killed just a few weeks after his arrival in France and only a year after he had left school. A special service of commemoration was held at the church and another at Stone Cross memorial on the Bexwell/Ryston parish boundary. John Pollock, nephew of Mr Prangley, and his daughter Anna, travelled from Cornwall to attend.
