Recent Events. November 3, 1998. The Leader of Opposition on 2 October condemned the audit findings of the Fiji Military Forces and singled out the Minister for Home Affairs for misleading the Parliament. This came with speculation that the National Federation Party and the SVT had started dialogue with a view to form a working coalition.
