Tags: Leyte With the skies pouring rain, Pope Francis' envoy to the Philippines, Papal Nuncio Archbishop Giuseppe Pinto, on Tuesday night welcomed Christmas with residents of typhoon Yolanda-hit Palo town in Leyte province.
Pinto celebrated Mass at the Palo Cathedral at 10 p.m. Tuesday, radio dzBB's Rodil Vega reported early Wednesday.
