| Simon and Garfunkel’s The Sound of Silence nearly did not become the song for a generation. Play it again, it is still relevant today |
|
Sweet melody: (Left) Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel. The story of Simon and Garfunkel and their famous song The Sound of Silence is a part of pop culture myth. It’s been 50 years since the song first topped Billboard magazine’s pop singles’ chart, and 52 years since it was first recorded.
