Sir Neville Marriner, conductor. Born 15 April 1924 in Lincoln. Died 2 October 2016, aged 92. Conductor Sir Neville Marriner, who led the Academy of St Martin in the Fields to become one of the world’s most-recorded classical music groups, has died. He was 92.
