The "world's longest-serving Scout" who was one of the last surviving "beach masters" from the Dunkirk evacuation has died. Vic Viner, who joined 1st Dorking Scouts aged 8 in 1925 and served in the Royal Navy during the Second World War, died aged 99 last Thursday.
