*Grammy-nominated Gospel performer James Fortune pleaded guilty back in March to assaulting his wife — the second time he has admitted to abusing a family member. He accepted a plea deal for a third-degree felony assault charge for the 2014 attack, which ironically occurred in the midst of Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
