|
ELYRIA, Ohio – Trooper Kenneth Velez was remembered Thursday as a hero, an officer devoted to public service who wouldn't quit, even when he could have stepped down. A large crowd filled much of the Ewing Activities Center at Lorain County Community College to pay their respects at a funeral for Velez, 48, who died Sept.
