My dad died. I read it in an out-of-town obituary. As much as I didn’t want it to end this way, as much as I prayed it would not end this way, it did. Boy, how I’d wanted answers. While he lived, I wanted him to talk to me and explain what happened and say he was sorry and tell me he somehow still loved me.
