A priest from Repton will become the first female bishop in Derbyshire and the East Midlands when she is welcomed at a special service at Derby Cathedral this week. The Right Reverend Jan McFarlane, the new Bishop of Repton, will be welcomed at a special service on Wednesday to mark her arrival and the start of her official duties.
