Following substantial flooding in parts of the area, it’s still unclear whether state assistance from the Ohio Emergency Management Agency is coming. Jay Carey, external affairs chief for Ohio EMA, said the agency has staff in the Norwood area providing technical assistance and aiding with “damage assessment following Sunday evening’s deluge.
