Mary Jane Pohlers, a lifelong Joliet resident who started the city’s first FM radio station with her late husband, Al Pohlers, died Wednesday. She was 97. ȁ#x201c;She had a very good voice for radio,ȁ#x201d; said her nephew, Robert Baudek, who for 10 years managed WAJP, the station Al and Mary Jane founded.
