A criminal trial of two Sudanese pastors detained by police authorities since December last year without charges is scheduled to start tomorrow in Khartoum. Pastors Kowa Shamaal and Hassan Abdelrahim were transferred from police cells to the main jail in the capital’s twin city of Omdurman ahead of a 14 August court hearing which was adjourned.
