At a gathering in Old Bethpage to commemorate Vietnam veterans for their wartime service in Old Bethpage, John F. Schrank, of Dix Hills, remembered the kid who grew up around the corner from him in Floral Park. His name was Joseph Price Lipton. But nobody who is 18 years old gets called Joseph Price Lipton except during high school graduation.
