Nearly two hundred thousand Catholic pilgrims on Sunday gathered at Fatima, one of Christianity’s most visited shrines, the sanctuary in Portugal said. Pilgrims celebrated the 96th anniversary of the day in 1917 when three Portuguese shepherd children reported seeing the Virgin Mary.
