May 26, 1929 – July 18, 2016. Daniel G. Ransom, former president of the Wm. Hengerer Co. department store, died Monday in Fox Run Health Care Facility in Orchard Park. He was 87. Born in Mount Vernon, Ohio, Mr. Ransom received a bachelor’s degree in English and political science from Ohio Wesleyan University.
