|
Workers began installing the donkeys Thursday. They represent the 50 states, five territories, Washington, D.C., and overseas Democrats. Twenty-eight artists painted each donkey with up to six icons representing their state or territory such as a flag, bird or flower. They are being placed at landmarks including the Philadelphia Museum of Art.
