The Barr government is now threatening voters with a $220-$280 million cost for scrapping light rail ("Trams ordered, cancellation cost $220m", June 28, p1). Instead of selling the "apparent" $1.2 billion in benefits, the ACT government has decided to run a scare campaign for stopping the project.
