Gardaí are today questioning a man who was arrested after an eight-hour armed siege in the Co town of Bailieborough. Cavan The 56-year-old man, who was armed with a shotgun, locked himself into a local pub following the violent death of woman whose body was found earlier in her home in the Drumbannon estate on the outskirts of the town.
