VERO BEACH Sherri Davis, of Vero Beach, said she stumbled across a Gay Pride Weekend event in Washington, D.C., last weekend. "I was there for other reasons, and I didn't know it was Gay Pride Weekend," she said. As she wandered through the event, she noticed participants holding "Free Hugs" signs.
