| Palace assures public: PDAF abolition won't affect basic services |

Malacañang on Sunday allayed fears the abolition of the controversial Priority Development Assistance Fund, or pork barrel, may disrupt basic government services.
Deputy presidential spokesperson Abigail Valte said the budgets of the national government agencies for basic services will remain and are not affected by the scrapping of the PDAF.
