Bobby Curtola, who headlined The Dardanella during its heyday in the 1960s, and most recently made an appearance at the Wasaga Film Festival award gala, died Saturday night at his home in Edmonton. He was 73. Curtola and his band, The Martels, performed several times at The Dardanella during the 1960s.
