The government will provide funds for child refugees, but the figure might not be enough (Picture: KAY NIETFELD/dpa) A scheme to resettle refugee children around the UK could lead to further service cuts or increases in council tax. From July, the government will provide £41,600 a year for refugees living in the UK aged under 16.
