It has been reported that after an emergency meeting of the Liberal Party federal executive, the Coalition asked Labor to dely the bill's introduction. Late on Wednesday night, Special Minister of State Mark Dreyfus confirmed Labor would abandon the proposals if the Coalition withdrew its support.
