| 8 seconds that changed Dakarai Allen |
|
It still sticks in his mind, like a basketball wedged between the rim and backboard. San Diego State vs. St. John’s. NCAA Tournament. First half. Dakarai Allen subs in for Matt Shrigley, who is hot from outside but needs a blow. Allen plays one defensive possession, there’s a media timeout, Shrigley subs back in.
