The Bishop of Derry has insisted that he had no knowledge of what was happening in the mothers and baby homes being run by the Catholic Church, saying: 'I was a junior squaddie'. B ishop Donal McKeown said that he was working in education and was involved with dealing with issues in Belfast at the time.
