Today, January 15, is the birthday of, in my mind, the greatest civil rights leader in American history. Of course, I am referring to Martin Luther King, Jr. As is the case with many of our holidays, we celebrate it on a Monday, the third one in January, rather than on the actual day. This year, it will be celebrated on January 18.
