Comedian Alison Spittle has joined calls for the Angelus to be banned from RTE following the Mother and Baby Homes report. The Catholic devotion aired before RTÉ's flagship news programme, the Six One News, reported on the 9,000 children who died in Church and State institutions between 1922 and 1998.
