Article content. POLITICS IN SPORT Used to be one could immerse themselves in radio/TV sports and forget all the problems of the world, especially politics. In the summer watching a ball game or on a cold wintry night watching the Leafs play, or not, was pleasant. It was a time you could immerse oneself without a care in the world.
