With the continuing threat of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic, Quiapo Church Rector Monsignor Hernando Coronel has discouraged the faithful from flocking to Quiapo Church on January 9, the Feast Day of the Black Nazarene.
He said devotees of the Black Nazarene should just pray in their homes for their own safety and health.
