The year 2020 took many Arkansas notables from us -- the man who penned "True Grit," the coach who put Razorback basketball on the map, the father of the modern bass boat, the longtime cook to governors and the founding editor of this newspaper's High Profile section -- to name a few. More than 30,000 people die in Arkansas every year.
