Ampleforth College's headmaster has hit back at a ban on admitting new pupils, claiming the Government's decision was based on an "overblown" Ofsted report. Robin Dyer, who was appointed in July last year, said there was "no evidence" children were at risk of harm, adding a restriction order preventing admissions should be "revoked quickly”.
